SCANLY CODE OF CONDUCT

At Scanly, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct. This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations for all employees, partners, and affiliates in their interactions and responsibilities. Each employee is personally responsible for understanding and adhering to this Code.

 

Reporting Violations

Employees who become aware of a breach or potential breach of this Code of Conduct should promptly report it to the Management of Scanly. In cases involving management, the issue should be brought to the attention of the HR department.

 

Compliance with the Law

All Scanly employees must protect our company’s legality and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to environmental, labor, safety, tax, and fair dealing laws. The law represents our minimum standard; we aim for higher ethical standards locally.

 

Employee Relationships

Scanly supports diversity and inclusion, welcoming people of all backgrounds and identities. We ensure fair treatment in hiring, recognition, and promotion based on skills, character, and work ethics. Nepotism, favoritism, and conflicts of interest are not tolerated. We promote harmonious relationships between employees, partners, and customers.

 

Conflict of Interest

Conflicts of interest arise when personal goals conflict with responsibilities towards Scanly. Employees must avoid situations where personal or financial interests interfere with their duties. All non-public information about Scanly should be considered confidential. Unauthorized use or sharing of such information is prohibited and may result in legal consequences.

 

Competition and Fair Dealing

Scanly seeks to outperform competitors fairly and honestly. Unethical or illegal business practices, such as stealing proprietary information or inducing disclosures by past or present employees of other companies, are prohibited. Employees should respect the rights of and deal fairly with customers, suppliers, competitors, and colleagues.

Discrimination and Harassment

Scanly is committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and will not tolerate any illegal discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected class.

 

Cyber Security and Digital Devices

Employees must follow guidelines for using computers, phones, internet connections, and social media to ensure security and protect company assets. Personal use of corporate internet and email should not interfere with job responsibilities or violate company policies.

 

Social Media

Employees are permitted to access personal social media accounts at work, but must act responsibly and productively. Personal accounts should clearly state that opinions are the individual’s own and not representative of Scanly. Confidential or proprietary information should not be shared.

Code of Ethics for Financial Officers

Financial Officers must adhere to high ethical standards, ensuring full, accurate, and timely disclosure of information. They must avoid bias, conflicts of interest, and inappropriate influence, and protect confidential and personal information.
